THE PROject
During my internship, I collaborated with my team to enhance Audemars Piguet’s website by conducting research and redesigning and prototyping key sections and pages. I developed prototypes for various components, focusing on animations to improve user interactivity. My contributions included redesigning the Lookbook component, the Boutique Finder, and the Boutique Page. In this case study, I'll focus on the Boutique Finder and the Boutique Page, since the final version has been published.

analysis
I began by analyzing the client's brief, which outlined specific requirements for the boutique finder and a general structure for the boutique page. My first step was conducting research on the boutique finder and page layouts of other luxury brands. This analysis provided an initial understanding of how to structure the pages and allowed me to create the first sketches.
ideation
I developed several design proposals, both for web and mobile versions, and presented them to the client, focusing on exploring diverse layouts. For the Boutique Page, the primary objective was to craft a compelling narrative that highlighted the rich history and unique services of the AP boutiques. The overarching theme celebrated the brand's heritage and legacy, aiming to create an engaging and immersive user experience.
iterations
After each client meeting, I collected their feedback to refine and improve the design, working closely with my team to develop updated proposals. This iterative approach ensured the final product consistently aligned with their expectations and needs. For the Boutique Finder, I implemented a pop-up feature to provide additional boutique information and completely redesigned the mobile version for a more user-friendly experience. For the Boutique Page, I focused on leveraging existing website components to optimize and streamline the development process.
final design
This is the final version I designed, featuring high-fidelity prototypes for both web and mobile. I made few adjustments to the initial wireframes, including reducing the length of the Boutique Page, selecting images, and writing the page content. The project was later handed off to my team, and the currently published version reflects some modifications made after my final delivery.

reflections
During this project, I not only enhanced my hard skills, such as prototyping and designing various options, but also significantly developed my soft skills. Initially, I struggled to present my work to the client effectively, occasionally taking certain aspects for granted. However, this experience taught me to improve my communication and presentation abilities. I also became more adept at defending my ideas and clearly articulating my design decisions.
